"Come and say G'day " is Tourism Australia's new global campaign to support the Australian tourism industry rebuild.

I went on a trip to the land down under a month before my 12th-grade boards and never before have I been more sunburnt and tanned . My teachers at school asked me if my parents and I were even concerned about the fact that I have exams that are set to decide which college I go to and ultimately determine the rest of my life. Despite their concerns, my dad has continued to believe that learning should not be limited to a classroom, and nothing teaches a person more than traveling, which is exactly what I told any adult who questioned my travels. Australia was our first family trip that did not completely revolve around Polo. We did all touristy activities from lying on the Gold Coast sand to visiting the Warner Brothers theme park. The one activity that stood out from the rest was snorkeling at the Seaworld Marine Park. The calm salty water with fish just casually swimming by , juxtaposed against my parents' attempts to capture the moment on camera. This experience was extremeley special to me because I have been completely obsessed with life underwater ever since I watched "The Little Mermaid" as a child. Following our underwater adventure, we ventured to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. There, I had the unique opportunity to interact with a KANGAROO and a KOALA BEAR!!!!

As our touristy exploits drew to a close, we found ourselves at Richmond for the Polo World Cup finals, seamlessly transitioning from sightseers to fervent polo enthusiasts.
